UNTITLED, UNEXPECTED #10
in a way, this accidental recording harks back to one of the first 'field recordings' I ever bought - a bootleg cassette of a new wave band over 30 years ago. At the end of the concert the taper forgets to turn off the recorder and there's 20 minutes of walking back to a car, then driving.
I was testing a new hand-held recorder for the manufacturer and had been recording an old pig shed in east yorkshire. I thought i'd turned the machine off before getting back into my car and driving home. listening back i'm intrigued by the vibrations.
